And five years later, I'm posting to make a decent correction to this tab.

The main riff, the E F# A part is actually much easier than trying to barre those chords. Listening to the song, Blake was clearly playing open strings, and you don't hear open strings when you're playing a barre chord. This is what he's doing:


The x's are spots where you must palm mute! The majority of the song is palm muted anyway, but the extra percussion from the muted string adds nicely. If you can't manage to mute just one string, pretend the x's are just spots not to hit or fret.
