great job on the tab. love the song, but seems like something was a little off in the chorus. i think it goes like this...

Code:
Gm            C               F   D7
someday we'll meet beyond the stars

            Gm  C          F   F7
and it will be   away from here

Gm            C               F            D7
someday we'll meet beyond the time and the bars

            Gm  A#m          F
and it will be     away from here

etc...

it's definitely not a C. The A#m is correct.

i apologize. should've been more specific.

it doesn't sound right if you play an open C
C=X32010,
that is correct. instead it sounds more accurate if you play
C=X355XX.

the A#m is more of an accent at the end of the chorus. also at the very end of the song, the final A#m is substituted for a C. hope this helps

Actually it should be this:
Code:

Gm            C               F   D7
someday we'll meet beyond the stars

            Gm  A#m            F   F7
and it will be   away from here

Gm            C               F            D7
someday we'll meet beyond the time and the bars

            Gm  A#m          F
and it will be     away from here

etc...

so you were half right, you play the C for the first line then alternate with the A#m.

I was just gonna come here and ask someone else for these, but then I started fiddling around and I think I figured it out. I'm pretty sure this sounds right, except for the beginning of the second lead part where I put it down as b|--0/5 etc. *Uhh, also about the second lead, you kinda have to figure out how many times each note is played. I didn't bother to count it out.* I hope that makes sense.

Code:

intro part:
e|--3/5-5-5---3/5-5-5---6-5-6/13--13/5-6-5-3-5-6-5-5/1--|

after first chorus:
e|------5-5-5-5-5-5-6-5-6/8-8-8-8-8-8-6-5-6-6-6-8-9-9-9-8-6/5-5-5-5-5h6-5-3-1-|
b|--0/5-----------------------------------------------------------------------|

solo
e|--3/5-5-5---3/5-5-5---6-5-6/13--13/5-6-5-3-5-6-5-5/1----|

e|--3/5-5-5---3/5-5-5---6-5-6/13---13-15---15-17-18-17-15-17-15-13-|

I play this on the b string starting at the 8th fret. I find it much more comfortable to play it like this:

First lead part

b--8/10-10-8/10-10-11-10-11/18--18-10-11-10-8-10-11-10--10/6--

After first chorus:

b--1/10--10-10-11-10-11/13--13-13-11-10-11-11-11/13-14-14-14-13/11-

(continued)
b-11/10-10-10-10-10-10h11-10-8-6---

Last solo part:

b-8/10-10-8/10-10-11-10-11/18-18-10-11-10-8-13-11-10--10/6---

(continued)
e-------------------------------------------15--15-17-18-17-15-17-15-13--
b-8/10-10-8/10-10-11-10-11/18--18--------------------------------------

You could play it either way. Whichever is comfortable for you.

Thank you all for working this out. I've been wondering about the lead for some time.
