I think we all realize that Rilo Kiley has broken up in all but name. So I was wondering about possible reunions of the band. If any of Jenny/Blake/Pierre/Jason refused to take part in a reunion and the rest of the band joined up anyway, would you consider that a real reunion?

Pierre and Jason have both played with Jenny and it didn't sound like Rilo Kiley or feel like a Rilo Kiley reunion. I'm not trying to discredit Pierre and Jason's contribution to the band's sound - but - in my mind, what makes Rilo Kiley Rilo Kiley is Blake + Jenny. Specifically - Blake's guitar solos, guitar everything, guitar perfection, and Jenny's lyrics/vocals/harmonica/bangs. (Haha.)

So yeah my answer is if Jenny grows her bangs out nothing is anything.

Blake did mention in a paste article that him and Jenny have been talking. At least we know they are on good terms. I also think that Blake has an influence on Jenny's songwriting style that makes Rilo Kiley what it is as well.

I doubt that's likely. When has Jenny NOT had bangs...aside from in the video for The Frug?

Edited to say hey to hphan848, and where in Kansas are you? I'm from there, but not there now.

I think if Pierre or Jason had been replaced or get replaced in the future, I wouldn't mind so much in terms of the recording, but I would definitely mind once I saw them live.

Pierre and Jason seem like pretty laid back guys. I can imagine they want little to do with the high drama of Jenny and Blake.
