Anyone who's been to a show so far able to ballpark how long Whispertown and Maria Taylor's sets are? I'm lookin to do the Denver show really on the cheap and may have to slide out a little early to bus it back to Boulder. Not really a big deal; when it's time to go, it's time to go, but it's nice to have a gameplan in case I have a drink or five too many...

doors were at 8. whispertown came on at 9:30 and they were done by 10ish. maria came on within 10 minutes after them and played until 11:30ish, i think?

We're supposed to get an EP in September and a new album probably next summer. Morgan and Vanesa both said they were saving Firecracker and Time Will Welcome Anything for the new album.

Songs like this are why my friends need to go to this show. A number of my friends don't care much for Maria Taylor, so they're dismissing the show. I keep telling them that even if that's the case, Whispertown is worth the price alone, but no dice.

man, i did an interview with morgan for my blog, but i recorded it and transcribed it and there was one part where i can't make out what she was saying and she had told me i could always message her on myspace and ask, and i did a week ago but haven't heard back. then i just checked now and it looks like she hasn't logged on since i sent it, so i dunno if maybe their internet access on tour is limited. i kinda wanted to get the interview up while they're still on tour...maybe it could convince more people to go see them. i dunno. so now i dunno if i should keep waiting, or if i should just go ahead and post it and leave the "[indistinguishable]" in there. hahaha
