crazy dreams that you've had (like while sleeping..)

Thursday night, I had a dream that a dog tried to attack my dad (no injuries, but my dad was really shaken up) and I was strong enough to hold it down...there were some random girls I knew from high school there, and we all tried to call 911 on our phones and none of them would connect. I was just getting scared that I couldn't hold the dog down any more when I woke up with my hand pressing down on my mattress, haha.

Last night, I had a dream that I went to take this additional teaching certification test that I actually am taking next month, only it was in a school's library and one of my friends was there. For some reason, I brought my laptop and cat, and set them down next to me. My friend and I were taking our tests on paper (in real life I'll be taking a computer based test) and I hear my friend laughing, and I see she's looking at my cat...I look over and my cat is using my laptop, surfing the web. hahaha!!

When I awoke from this dream the first thing I thought was "that was fucking intense" the second thing was "I must share this on the boards" lol. For part of it I was the main character for part of it I wasn't, I'll explain as best I can.

I was having some mental issues or something so I went to a psychiatrist. He told me that there was someone/something inside me that we needed to get rid of (I guess I was being possessed) and gave me some pills and strategies that should help. It didn't work because then there is this girl (me?) lying on a bed freaking out and the psychiatrist and some professor are on top of her trying to calm her down and she's fighting them. The doctor asks "remember we discussed this and you need to get rid of the person in your brain?" And she responds "I remember you saying that, but I think you're crazy and I didn't agree with you." and they keep struggling and he asks her again and this time she says "yeah I know, how are we gonna get rid of it?" and so the Dr. and the professor start discussing it with me, though I am her but more conscious/lucid, and I'm like "yeah that girl/me doesn't know what she's talking about she keeps changing her mind and rambling, go ahead and do what you need to." So they decided that whatever is causing this has to do with the eyes, so they need to shove new eyeballs into my ears and pull out the old ones and I will be healed. I start freaking out upon hearing this but they hold me down and stick the eyeballs in my ears, I feel them spinning around in my head and then pop into my eye-holes, but the old ones don't just pop out, they fall like into my throat and I'm running around my grandma's house confused by this sensation of new eyes in my head and the old ones in my throat and then I start throwing up the old eyeballs. And thats when I awoke.

I was in the state capitol building in this huge room with wooden beams all across the ceilings and cobwebs on the wall. It was fairly dark in the room because there was only one tiny window on one of the walls, which was partially blocked by a huge tree outside. The floor was kind of dirty and their was an old flowery couch in the room. I was with my sister, we were cleaning up because it was her old apartment (although it was also a room in the state capitol building?). My sister was telling me a ghost haunted the apartment, which was why she moved out. There was a lull in our conversation and I could hear the ghost houling, it sounded like a woman's voice coming from the ceiling.
At that point I realized I was supposed to be at a party down the street, so I left the capitol and walked down to a house a few blocks away. A few of my co-workers were there. Everyone was drinking a ton of beer and playing games in this tiny house. I was kind of having fun, but then someone came into the party telling all of us that there was a fire up the street, so everyone left the party.
That's all I remember.

ps: rockstonic that last dream you posted was totally crazy!

I had the best dreams last night. In one I was traveling with Rilo Kiley for some reason, like I 'd be working for them or something and I was really nervous to meet Jenny, but when she showed up she thought I was totally awesome for some reason and we became best friends. Also she had dyed her hair brown Surprised

In another I was at a restaurant or hotel with some pretty important wine people and I got to try a Caymus wine. I don't know which one it was, but I was way excited and it smelled beautiful!

I'm so upset that I had to wake up.

I invented an episode of the Office in a dream the other night. WTF! In the episode, Dwight and Jim had to babysit some kids together for some reason. Of course they were fucking up royally and the kids kept pulling pranks on them. They went down to the basement together to get something and closed the door. They were in this storage room thing. When Dwight tried to open the door he got electrocuted, and realized that the parents and put an electrical current on the door in case robbers came in through the basement window, so they wouldn't be able to get into the rest of the house. So Dwight and Jim were trapped in the basement together and arguing about the best way to get out. WTF I must be watching too much tv.

I had a dream last night that someone was trying to break into my apartment. It was actually a big group of people, but they were very shadowy, kind of like a phantom army or something. I knew intuitively that they were going to come break in, but since I couldn't prove it, no one believed me. I first told my sister and she wouldn't listen. Then I told my boyfriend, and he said he was too busy to help me. I decided to go to home depot by myself to get some tools to board up my windows because I was so nervous about it.
Then the dream transitioned and I had decided to go visit my old apartment (which in real life did get broken into while I lived there). The new tenants had remodeled it, adding an extra bedroom and bathroom.
That was about it. It was a strange dream though. I was so upset during the part about the phantom army breaking into my apartment that when I woke up this morning I felt like I hardly slept at all.

okay, WTF, my nightmares really need to stop. I had two last night.

In the first, I was in this huge terannium thing. There were tons of plants every where and a bunch of birds flying around. It was in this huge building downtown and had been set up for people to come in and observe wildlife, kind of like a mini-zoo. I was walking around and looking at the birds when I noticed a HUGE snake. It started coming after me, and so I ran out the door. I slammed the door behind me, but the snake baralled through. I was running away from it, and turned around to see that it had grown a bunch of legs and feet, about 12 or so, and was wearing tennis shoes so it could run even faster to chase me (sounds hilarious now, but it was fucking terrifying in the dream). Right when I was about to give up on running away, I turned around again and saw the snake get run over by a car.

I woke up and got some water, then went back to sleep only to have ANOTHER bad dream.

This time I was outside of a subway restaurant when I noticed about 4 guys wearing all black with face masks go inside with machine guns. I decided to be heroic and go try to stop them. Once I got inside though, I became paralyzed with fear because I saw the guys shoot an employee with their machine gun and watched her fall over bleeding to death. I crouched behind the counter and hoped no one would see me, they continued to shoot everyone in the store with machine guns and then I woke up because I was so scared.

God damn it.

I had another dream that my sister was pregnant. She had just got impregnated with twins, but her uterus was no good so the embryos couldn't implant and she needed to implant them in someone or they would be released. She wanted to have them so she asked me to carry them for her. I didn't want to, but she kept bugging and saying that if I didn't take them it would be like having an abortion, I was ok with that. Then my parents started telling me that I had to carry the twins for my sister. The first thing I said to them was "I can't go 9 months without drinking!" they gave me disapproving looks and called me ridiculous. Then my grandpa needed a kidney and I was asked to give it. I had no problem with this, I was gladly willing to give up a kidney but I refused to carry babies. My parents said they would just have the doctor implant the embryos when they took out the kidney, and this upset me. I told them yet again that I did not want to be pregnant. My sister kept bugging me about it and I was told I had 3 days to decide. I told her that her kids would end up with FAS if I carried them. I was really upset and conflicted, I REALLY did not want people growing inside me, but I knew that I would end up doing it. Thats when I awoke.

I had a terrible dream last night: I went to a Rilo Kiley show and it was absolutely awful! They were previewing songs from an upcoming album and they were all really bad half sung half spoken songs, actually probably mostly spoken songs. And Jenny was acting really strange and was dressed and made-up Lady Gaga style and there were a bunch of pauses for costume changes. And most importantly the music was terrible. It started off with a bunch of people in the crowd but by the end it was just me and my family and they were like "this is the woman you like so much?" and I was trying to convince them that its not usually that way and I didn't know what was going on. So awful!

I had a dream that I bought a veggie-hot dog from a street vendor. I started feeling weird after I ate it so I went to talk to the lady who made it and she told me that the secret ingredient was ecstasy. Then I remembered I was supposed to be at a party, so I walked there. The party was in this huge commune building with a bunch of bedroooms and everyone there was wearing white robes. I found my friend who was hosting the party and told him that I was freaking out because I ate a veggie hot dog laced with ecstasy. As I was talking to him I realized I needed to find my boyfriend so he could take care of me, because I'd never taken the drug before and I didn't know how I would react. I found my boyfriend and then realized that one of the bedrooms in the commune was mine. My boyfriend told me to just lay down and sleep it off,and that was the end of the dream.

After a couple months of normal dreams, i'm back to weird ones again. I had several last night.

In the first dream, I had an identical twin, who was actually this girl I hated in high school. My boyfriend was dating both of us. I got pissed and told him he needed to decide which one of us he wanted to be with, and then I went into my kitchen to make a low fat brownie recipe that I saw on Losing It with Jillian. After I put the brownies in the oven, I went to talk to my boyfriend and he told me that he decided just to date me because me and the other girl were practically the same person, which pissed me off even more.

In the second dream, I was going to my friend Caitlin's wedding. Her wedding was held in some weird, giant, canyon-like area, with all of the guests seated on the rim of the canyon and the wedding taking place below. I had to take a ship to get to it. I was going to sit with my friends at the wedding, but then I saw my mom there by herself so I sat with her instead. After the wedding, instead of taking the boat home, I was riding in a car that was driving along this absolutely insane road that was barely wide enough for the car to fit on and winding around the edge of a giant mountain. There were crazy jungle plants everywhere, and I kept trying to look up the mountain to the top but it was too high for me to see and I thought I'd probably be on that road forever.

My family was having a picnic at a park where gorillas ran around freely. They were friendly gorillas, kept to themselves, didn't even try to take our food. Which we had a lot of--it was like a Hogwarts feast. There were police driving all around the park, I guess to keep the gorillas in check. All of a sudden we see one of the gorillas jump in a black car and take off driving down the street. Everyone is in complete shock. Someone asks if we should call the police and someone else says that a gorilla isn't going to know to pull over when he sees the lights behind him, then I say that I gorilla doesn't know how to drive either! We are all at a loss. Then I take out my phone and tweet "just saw a gorilla driving, what does one do in this situation?"

Rilo Kiley was playing a free concert,so I went in this van with my family. We were way in the back and I was listening to the music and texting someone when suddenly I was like "why the hell am I way in the back?" So I worked my way up to the front right next to the stage, and I was dancing. They were playing "Three Hopeful Thoughts" except Jenny was singing. When they finished she said "let's try that one again" so they played the same song except Blake sang. He stood up on a chair so he could see the crowd and he sounded nervous, his voice kept breaking, so I was cheering for him.

neverending and v-rinny showed up in my dream last night. Something about sleeping in a car parked in a drive-way and I needed to deliver a bag of pebbles to them but there were all these obstacles, like gangs and shit. Also a large bag of pot was somehow involved. Then I had another dream about Joseph Gordon Levitt. I guess thats what happens when you spend too much time on twitter before bed.

My best friend and I were getting trained by Jillian from Biggest Loser. My friend was in the bathroom bawling because Jillian was so mean to her, and I was riding an exercise bike. It was at a really high resistance and I was having a hard time. My boyfriend was sitting in front of me eating Little Debbie snacks, and Jillian kept yelling at me saying I needed to think about myself and not what other people are eating.
