just saying, jason would never pass on that. i think hes such a little bitch with jenny, he does everything with her with the exception of acid tongue because he was with mvb and writing solo material...didn't really like that album as much as i tried to convince myself i would

lol, he really is. I wonder about their relationship sometimes, especially during UTB with the interviews and their similar fashion choices.
Also, I still don't think that Jason and Pierre are golden just because they have gigs. The reason they are the screwed ones here is because they were part of an up-and-coming band that could have made some big money and then it just stopped, possibly without their say. It would be great if they do make it in some bands, but, again based on speculation, I'd think once you're in your upper 30s with a child you'd prefer to have something a bit more stable (in terms of the music scene) like a band you've helped build and become what it is from your 20s. I do hope they have success but in terms of RK, the people getting screwed are the 'passive' members.

I guess this nearly 8-month old reply should address the first one, lol!
Anyway I just stopped back in because i found a copy of the 'Sandbox Sessions' tape online. (I'm even 4 months late on that  ). Once again dammit.. there are 3 unreleased songs on there that are awesome. I'm really upset that
a) We wont be getting any new Rilo Kiley stuff
and
b) There seems to be enough bad blood still preventing that 'B-Sides' project from being completed.
While I enjoyed Jenny Lewis' solo albums (caught her in concert as well and it was good). I was rather dissapointed with the Jenny and Johnny album. I don't know if i'm just not a fan of Johnathan Rice or what but I thought it was her weakest output yet. I'd really be happier with more solo stuff I think.
Oh well life goes on. |

My daughter was just watching the Gilmore Girls where Lane plays RK (Science v Romance) for Rory and tries to detect whether there is a pre- and post-breakup change. Pretty silly, but interesting to hear the band referenced so directly.

I liked that scene in GG.
Also I started watching Greys anatomy because in the trailer for the upcoming tv show they used: portion for foxes.
Now I just hope Jenny will come to Europe again soon. I miss seeing her live.
