OKKERVIL RIVER!!!!!!
I love Okkervil River! I've been obsessed with the stage names lately, can't wait for the next one.
Single malt scotch is delicious!
The internet is depressing. I was on facebook creeping on all the people I used to be friends with but rarely talk to anymore and it made me sad.
I don't know what the hell I wanna do with my life and I should really have my shit figured out by now!

And description of the album:
"The goal was to push my brain to places it didn't want to go. The idea was to not have any idea - to keep myself confused about what I was doing," frontman Will Sheff says about Okkervil River's newest album. "I produced it myself so that I could extend the songwriting process all the way through to the very last second of recording, so the songs would never really stop changing." The resulting record, 'I am Very Far,' is a startling break from anything this band has done before. By turns terrifying and joyous, violent and serene, grotesque and romantic, it's a celebration of forces beyond our control. _________________ Under cherry flowers none are strangers
I'm not drunk but I'm REALLY FUCKING STONED! I think I've been watching too much tv lately because every situation that I'm in I think about how it would play out on a television show. How fucking pathetic is that? Have you ever realized that on tv when someone makes a joke nobody laughs? Its the audience/viewers who laugh and the characters don't even notice that it was funny and thats part of what is funny about it. But in life, when someone says something funny everyone laughs. I think thats kind of crazy. Can you tell I'm high?
So my sister has been on this major diet and exercise kick. She goes to the gym everyday and has been eating super healthy--doing her own shopping and cooking her own meals. We have a really big family to begin with and people (friends, cousins, etc.) are always over. So of course people have been eating my sister's food. She was super pissed about this and has been writing her name on all her food in attempt to keep others from consuming it. I understand her frustration, but at the same time what does she expect? We like to nag/tease her that she's greedy and she's pretty sensitive about it. Earlier she was yelling at my mom who was opening a can of tuna telling her that it better not be one that had her name on it. Tonight we were chilling in the living room and my youngest sister walks by the kitchen and then says "ooh we have bananas!" And then my sister yells "no, those are mine!" And I laughed and said "I bet she wrote her name on all of them." And she answered defiantly, "I did." So I went into the kitchen to see and sure enough she wrote her name on every fucking banana in red marker! EVERY FUCKING BANANA! Maybe its because I'm high, but I find it incredibly hilarious. I can't stop laughing!!!! _________________ I'll sink this ship if I want.

I know I bring this up from time to time, but we really need a "I'm sobering up so not really drunk, but I know I'm gonna be hungover in the morning" thread. Wine and good company led to jack and cokes out at a local club. Finally slipped in a little dinner around midnight. Despite the copious amounts of alcohol on a fairly empty stomach, I fully plan on hitting the ski slopes tomorrow regardless of my degree of hungoverness. Nothing like a little fresh air and adrenaline to cure a hangover.

Saturday: I ran a half marathon then ate nothing but a burrito. Then proceeded to go to the bar and have a beer, a cape cod, and 2 AMFs within an hour. Let's just say I puked four times in the car ride home, another 2 times when I got back home, and then passed out on my couch fully clothed and woke up and had no idea where I was or how I got there. _________________ happiness is not a fish that you can catch.

I'm experiencing another case of unrequited co-worker love.
Yes, I'm an asshole.
Told my story to the bartender this afternoon (I got off early) and she bought me a beer.
I guess I won’t tell it here.
The whole thing has given me a big sore on my lip.
It happens everyday.
Not the sore on the lip but loving someone who doesn’t quite love you in the same way.
I’ve been on both sides----never equally in love.
It’s nice to come here and vent----even if I have to hold back a bit because she knows my handle----I told her about it when I was drunk and she found me here-----my work spouse that is----hello, Lammers!

Little Knob Creek & Coca Cola today to celebrate Cinco De Mayo and the end of my semester. After a little bourbon I sat down at the guitar and had an excellent session. One of those wonderful times when it just feels effortless. It was a beautiful day in Boulder today too. Good times.
I'm neither drunk or hungover, but I do want to mention that, after my troubles last year, I have been able to stick my toe back into the waters of alcohol.
Started with wine in the evening and now have about two beers a day.
Left to myself, I probably would cross the line again, but with family and work keeping me correct, it is going very well.
God, I hated feeling like a child in the world of full abstinence. _________________ Under cherry flowers none are strangers
