SO EXCITED! I was afraid we were never getting any music from Blake again.

And I get that he probably meant "I played most of the instruments myself, so it was easier to erase stuff without hurting anyone's feelings" as a good thing, but it made me just a little sad when I read it.

on november 14 2007 after a rilo kiley show in riverside, i saw blake at the end of the show. i said hi and we talked and stuff and while he was leaving we hugged, my friend corinne (who by the way is one of the great loves of my life) smiled at me and said "you know how i know you're gay? cause you guys were hugging each other ever so gently"

if it is a rerecording of it then i know that this album is gonna be awesome. HOnestly part of me is hoping he keeps it classy and doesnt retalliate to my pet snakes. i however do think he will say something about it on "go for the throat" but he wont say anything back at them just call them out for attacking them. i just feel that "my pet snakes" is a stupid thing to do if its about blake, because its like some middle school thing to join your new bf and talk smack about your ex

I remember back in 2005 RK soundchecking a song that blake sang with the one lyric being "I have this friend whos taking medicine". It was really good. When I asked Blake about it in '06 he said if it's not on the next rk album it will be on the next Elected record. I hope that song shows up.

I have been celebrating this news by listening to Sun, Sun, Sun nonstop for the past week. I have a feeling this record is going to be excellent. I am eagerly awaiting tour dates. If there isn't one in UT, I'm set on a road trip.

wow! i just happened to check myspace and saw that 1 hour ago the elected profile pic was changed! came here to "break the news" and wonder what was up to find this news. just a few days ago i bought a used copy of sun sun sun off amazon for 99 cents + shipping and am awaiting it's arrival. i think recent Eels records have been on Vagrant.

one bad thing with Vagrant, i bought El Hombre Lobo and it advertises a free download of an Eels documentary. put the cd in and the webpage is no longer there. e-mailed them 2 or 3 times and they have never responded.
