has anybody got one? i've been searching for ages and i tried it myself but the best i could come up with was a three chord progression of GCF through the chorus.
oh yeah, and i meant the spectacular views from 'the execution of all things' not the other one on takeoffs |

Are you kidding me? It's not fine at all. That's not how it's played. Those chords are for what Jenny plays on the keyboard. It SOUNDS like the song but it's not the what Blake plays. THAT'S the tab I want.

I did try to figure it out first. And when I couldn't, I came here to see if anyone knew the real way to play it. It's just a song that I'd LOVE to rock out to while playing. And plus, these are supposed to be GUITAR tabs...not tabs for what people think the song sounds like. In my opinion, all these tabs should be EXACTLY what is played on the guitar.

Just out of curiosity, when did this 'revamp' occur?
Was it tabbed the way Blake plays it? If so, I'd like it reposted too. Very Badly.

I don't know an exact date (2005-06?), it was back when there was a homepage. And yes, the tab had the whole solo and the bridge part.

What I mean is did it have the 'chords' Blake played? The ones higher on the fretboard instead of the CGFC chord progression or whatever it was....

Dude, I HAVE watched youtube videos of him playing this song. They don't look like bar chords to me. If you claim you know how it's played then why don't you make yourself useful and re-tab it? It looks to me like he's playing two string chords somewhere at the 12th fret. I've tried to figure it out but I can't. And don't tell me that I lack guitar skills. I may not be the best but I do understand guitar.
I'm sorry for my bitchiness but seriously, don't keep telling me you know how it's played unless you have a tab to back it up. So let's see it, genius.

I've been searching for these tabs but all I found is these forums, but no tablature, unfortunately. So I tried to figure it out. I'm rather sure it's not perfect, but it sounds quite similar; well I hope it does! Feel free to correct me if some parts are wrong 
Sorry if it looks a bit awkward, I rarely write tabs. Oh and the strumming/rythm might be a little off but I'm sure you'll manage to sort it out.

oi you're welcome. I just made some last modifications and it should sound pretty good now. I know the beginning isn't played exactly like this live (judging by the videos, it is exclusively played higher on the fret board), but it's the only way I could find to make those slides  |

| oi you're welcome. I just made some last modifications and it should sound pretty good now. I know the beginning isn't played exactly like this live (judging by the videos, it is exclusively played higher on the fret board), but it's the only way I could find to make those slides |
The first time I tried playing it, it was pretty confusing. Now I'm trying to get the fingering down so the chord changes are easier. It's working out pretty well. I really think you have it right. And I seriously can't thank you enough for it. I've wanted to rock out to this for SO long!!! Now I can, thanks to you.

Dude, I HAVE watched youtube videos of him playing this song. They don't look like bar chords to me. If you claim you know how it's played then why don't you make yourself useful and re-tab it? It looks to me like he's playing two string chords somewhere at the 12th fret. I've tried to figure it out but I can't. And don't tell me that I lack guitar skills. I may not be the best but I do understand guitar.

actually, it's the z chord to the q chord, played on the 12th fret. Duh, don't you know anything? |

technically they actually play cgfc the fact that its played in the 12 does not make it a C. there a more than a dozen ways to play C.
