I hate Miley Cyrus. I don't see whats so appealing about her. I think Hilary Duff was a much better Disney star.

Please enlighten me why this is "awesome" news.

What is awesome?

The fact that you'll have to shell out 15 bucks or more for a soundtrack that seems to feature one Jenny song, one song by folks who aren't even singers plus a full, potentially very boring (on record) movie score?

Or the fact that Jenny might cross over to the Disney crowd and all of a sudden who have people at her shows who have Disney posters on their walls?

C'mon!

I'm all for new Jenny songs (especially if there are as good as "Highs And Lows") but I don't need them to be scattered through Japan-only releases and movie soundtracks.

I think what is awesome is that it's a new song. Also, that's the music business. If you whine a little more, maybe Jenny will go back to not making any money. You post was very insightful though, thanks for it.

I'm not going to argue whether this news is "awesome" or not because that's debatable but your post is quite ridiculous.

- Miley Cyrus and John Travolta aren't singers? Well last I heard, having a record deal and releasing songs with your vocals makes you a singer. The fact that they also act doesnt make them "not singers". And what does this have to do with anything?

- You don't have to shell out 15 bucks, you can easily download it or buy it off iTunes so why are you bitching?

- The likelihood of Jenny crossing to a Disney audience is beyond unlikely, so again, why are you bitching?

Cyrus/Travolta isn't a surprise since they are the stars of the movie..

Its cool that the one non-movie actor or orchestra song is Jenny. They could have picked literally anyone, so, thats whats awesome.

Oh god, I roll my eyes every time I see that trailer. But I can't pass up a Jenny Lewis track.

So, who's gonna get that song and upload it for everyone? Maybe I will when it goes to iTunes... I have 2 gift cards that I haven't used.

For real, another new Jenny song sounds good to me. And seriously, CarstenWohlfeld, do you really think that Jenny will start performing for Disney and shit?

Agreed. I hate to admit it, but I used to watch Lizzie Maguire and I thought she was pretty cute when she was a little kid.

Miley Cirus on the other hand, has never been cute.

Anywho, I guess it's cool that Jenny has a new song, but I still think the circumstances require another WTF?

I can't stand any of the modern Disney shows. Pretty sure they're all just a scheme to mass-produce pop stars and make millions.

I miss "Flash Forward."

Aww, I miss Flash Forward too! I used to watch that show everyday.

I about 90% agree with you on the modern Disney shows. There were some exceptions that I enjoyed. I happened to find That's So Raven absolutely hilarious. I also enjoyed The Proud Family. I just hate how all their "actors" launch music careers. Its blatant capitalization.

I miss the days of: Flash Forward, The Famous Jett Jackson, The Jersey, Kids Incorporated, Adventures In Wonderland, Bug Juice, So Weird and Totally Circus.

And speaking of Bug Juice, its funny how that show was on before the whole reality TV craze of the 00's. That show was like the kids version of The Real World. DRAMAAA!!
