I just found out, thru MFA, that Dave Dondero is playing California with one of the best bands/musicians from my area, Will Johnson and Centromatic. They are absolutely amazing. they've recorded about 12 albums in the last decade, starting with straight punk moving to what is now kind of a songwriter, altcountry type thang (unless they've changed/grown yet again). I think many RK fans would love them, check 'em out.

I was planning on seeing David Dondero since it's on my birthday, but I'd rather have dinner with some friends.
